Haute On The Ranch: Fall Festivities & All the FUN!

There’s something about October that brings the reality of Fall [finally] being here full circle. The colorful pumpkins and gourds and mums set out to welcome us around every corner (and a reminder that our Fall decor is a little late and lacking)… football homecomings… Saturday tailgates… antique festivals… state fairs... cool, crisp mornings… and the curtain coming down on another rodeo season as the excitement of finals qualifications set in. It’s our favorite time of year for SO many reasons, and we’re not ashamed to say that rolling out the latest round of Fall fashion easily makes that list. So, as you’re preparing your own closet for all the fall festivities and fun, here are some of our own closet picks that you might want to consider for yours also.

Duster LOVE: For the past several Fall seasons, the duster has continued to evolve -- and this season is NO different. From funky, chunky sweaters to sheer knits to sleeveless, we LOVE that it can be found in a style and fit unique to each person and climate. The Pendleton, The Oregon and The Oaklee are three of our most recent favorites to hit the shop -- The Pendleton for its perfect weight and funky elbow patches, The Oregon for super lightweight knit and southwest back detail (a go-to for those “warmer” Fall days when you still want something to cover your arms), and The Oaklee for its ability to add just the right amount of texture and romance (especially when paired with one of our favorite fall floral tops like The Fallyn).

Serape, Suede and Denim, FOR THE WIN: When it comes to Fall, there are three things that you really can’t go wrong with and we’ve got all three of them right here -- The Winston, The Sutherlin and The Marlboro. We’ve been a Tasha Polizzi fan for well… forever... but serape colors and pattern in the blazer cut of The Winston gives us all the feels of Fall! And then there’s The Sutherlin… the softest saddle tan suede made even better with the most gorgeous floral embroidery. And last (but certainly) not least, there’s The Marlboro VINTAGE. DISTRESSED. WRANGLER. PEARL SNAP. And nothing says Fall like finally being able to break out your latest and greatest denim tuxedo. Done right, they NEVER go out of style. ;)
