Savannah Sevens Western Chic is a fast-paced online retail business dedicated to providing an excellent customer service experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Operations Assistant to join our team as we continue to grow and expand. The ideal candidate will exercise EXCEPTIONAL attention to detail, organization, time management, complete tasks at a fast pace and have outstanding professional communication skills. In addition, this candidate will have a STRONG background in email communications, Facebook and Instagram, as well as an intuitive understanding of Internet functionality and navigation. This candidate will be an integral and vital part of the overall customer experience, and will be expected to effectively and efficiently execute the following tasks: (75%) Process and fulfill new orders for shipment; (20%) Process new inventory, including unpacking products, inspecting them for defects, counting to ensure invoice match, and carefully tagging and hanging products for storage; (5%) Respond to customer inquiries via email and social media in a timely and professional manner (within 24 hrs). This candidate will typically work closely with the owner of the business on a day-to-day basis, but MUST be a self-starter, and able to stay focused and execute tasks to completion at all times on their own.
This is a Seasonal Position, with the option of a 30-40 hrs/week position located in rural Brookville, Kansas. The position is available immediately and guaranteed to last thru the 21st of December. There is potential for this position to become full time after the first of 2019, dependent upon current workload. The primary tasks during the initial seasonal position will be inventory processing and shipping. The other tasks would be built into the position should it continue on into 2019.
Physical requirements: Friendly, relaxed, but VERY productive work atmosphere with compact and efficient office, storage and shipping setup. Casual, functional work attire. 90% of this position will require the candidate to be up and moving at a consistent pace. Candidate must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. to accommodate new inventory processing.
Experience: High school diploma required; [some] college education preferred. Additional consideration may be given to those with retail, customer service and/or professional business experience.
Compensation: $10-$15/hr. DOE. No benefits provided.
