Keep On Scrolling For Account Access & All The Need To Know!
If your order is refunded, any points earned from the purchase will be removed from your reward balance.
If a customer's order is marked as refunded and a reward discount was used, the points used for this discount will return to the customer's account
Note: It is possible for a reward points balance to be negative in certain situations. For example, if you submit a purchase and earn those points, then apply those points towards another purchase, then return the first item. The points will be removed from your account, but you’ve already "spent" them, resulting in a negative point balance.
If a customer earned points on a purchase and then that purchase is partially refunded, their points are reversed. They then earn points only for the remaining amount.
If a customer earned 100 points for spending $100, and is then partially refunded $75, the amount of points earned would get reduced to 25 - the remaining amount paid by the customer
Some points used are added back to the customer’s account.
If the amount left after a refund is greater than the discount used then we don't give back any of the points. The example here would be: I used 10 points for $10 off my $100 purchase. I then get partially refunded $25 so my total amount of the order is now $75. Since you still used your $10 discount we do not give you back points.
If the amount left after the refund is less than the discount used then we give you back the points you did not have to spend. The example here would be: I used 10 points for $10 off by $100 purchase. I then get a $95 refund so the final amount is only $5. I did not need to use $10 worth of points for a $5 purchase so we refund you $5 worth of points.
