Who is Devereaux Gold?

Texas resident Lauren Devereaux was driven to start her own business after working for the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry, Signet Jewelers, as well as the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon, and the world’s largest company by revenue, Walmart.

With a love of dainty, subtle jewelry and a respect for her great grandfather’s silversmithing of Native designs, Lauren established Devereaux Gold in 2023. Her luxe pieces are made of precious metals and stones that add a soft sparkle and sophisticated silhouette to your look. Lauren’s ancestors were among the first 100 families to settle in the Lone Star state, so her deep-rooted connection to the western lifestyle is what influenced the aesthetic. 

“I decided to create a line of dainty, fine jewelry inspired by the shapes and styles of traditional western jewelry,” said Lauren. “Don't get me wrong, I love a good squash blossom necklace, but I wanted something I could wear to my corporate job, or as an everyday layering piece.”

The Collection

When Savannah 7s owner Ryley Wimer was first introduced to Devereaux Gold and its owner through mutual friend Brianna Bigbee {@cosmopolitancowgirl}, she was instantly drawn to the jewelry line. You could just tell Lauren pays attention to all the details. From the quality of the stones and metals – each capturing the light in an eye-catching way – to the uniqueness of the chains and the modern designs, everything is purposefully created.

“We look for brands who are offering something that no one else is and Lauren is doing just that,” said Ryley. “We think our customers will appreciate the nod to their western roots but with a high-end element. They are western style, redefined.”
