Every photo should feel warm, intentional, on-brand, and shoppable — not over-edited, not trendy-for-trendy’s-sake, but consistent, elevated western fashion.

We’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Photographer & Visual Content Creator who can bring our clothing to life through styled flatlays, outfit pairings, lifestyle shoots, and polished ecommerce imagery — while matching and protecting our brand’s visual style.

 

 

The Opportunity

As our in-house visual creator, you’ll own the look and feel of Savannah Sevens imagery across web, social, email, and campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and creative leadership — taking direction on brand standards while also bringing thoughtful creative ideas to the table.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where styling, shooting, editing, and delivery all live with you. You’ll be trusted to create consistent, scroll-stopping imagery that feels elevated, warm, and distinctly Savannah Sevens.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Styling

  • Capture high-quality ecommerce product photography and lifestyle imagery

  • Style flatlays, outfit pairings, layering, and accessories with a strong fashion eye

  • Direct models to achieve consistent, flattering, on-brand posing

  • Shoot short-form video for PDPs, social, email, and paid media

  • Maintain consistent framing, lighting, and composition across all shoots

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit in Lightroom (Photoshop a plus) with a consistent, brand-aligned style

  • Match existing Savannah Sevens editing standards (warm, natural skin tones, true-to-color apparel, clean whites, minimal over-processing)

  • Ensure imagery is ecommerce-ready: color-accurate, clean, shoppable, and cohesive

  • Export assets correctly for Shopify, email, paid ads, and social

  • Maintain organized file naming and asset workflows

Pre-Production & Planning

  • Prepare garments for shoots (steaming, lint removal, styling)

  • Collaborate on shot lists and weekly launch calendars

  • Help plan lifestyle shoots (locations, props, mood references)

  • Flag when product presentation or lighting needs improvement

  • Contribute recommendations for camera gear, lighting setups, and workflow improvements as the brand scales.

 

 

You’re a Great Fit If You…

  • Have hands-on experience shooting with professional cameras (DSLR or mirrorless) and studio lighting

  • Understand exposure, focal length, depth of field, and lighting control (not just auto settings)

  • Can match an existing brand aesthetic instead of reinventing it every shoot

  • Have ecommerce or fashion photography experience (big plus)

  • Have a strong eye for styling, composition, and visual storytelling

  • Love western fashion and styling outfits that feel elevated + wearable

  • Are self-directed, deadline-driven, and organized

  • Are comfortable receiving creative direction and feedback

 

 

Physical & Equipment

  • Comfortable being on your feet, styling racks, moving sets, and directing models

  • Able to handle clothing, props, and camera gear

  • Savannah Sevens provides professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and studio tools

 

 

What We Offer

Pay: $45,000–$60,000 depending on experience + portfolio

Location & Commute

Our shop is located about 8 miles northwest of Salina, Kansas. The commute includes 3 miles of gravel roads, so reliable transportation and comfort with rural driving are essential.
