We are currently hiring for a Retail Operations Specialist, with an available start date immediately.

Savannah Sevens is an online western retail business dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience, through quality products and exceptional service. We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven and organized individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Specialist.

This candidate will be an integral and vital part of the overall Savannah 7s customer experience, effectively and efficiently executing the following tasks: primarily process new inventory, including unpacking products, inspecting them for defects, counting items to ensure invoice match, and carefully tagging and bagging products for storage. During peak shipping times will assist to process and fulfill new orders for shipment.

This is a fast-paced retail environment, so the ideal candidate will exercise outstanding attention to detail, organization, time management and complete tasks quickly and competently. This candidate will typically work closely with the Head of Operations and Team Lead on a day-to-day basis, but must be a self-starter, and be able to stay focused while executing tasks to completion at all times on their own.

Job Description: 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Process New Inventory: Unpack, Count, Inspect, Tag, Bag and stock New Arrivals
  • Process and Fulfill New Orders for Shipment
  • Process Returned Orders

This position has flexibility with hours: we are seeking preferably a full-time hire {M-F 40 hours/week} but may consider a part-time hire {M-F 28 to 32 hours/week}. Savannah 7s is located rurally northwest of Salina, Kansas, so employee is expected to have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements: Friendly, relaxed, but very productive work atmosphere. Casual, functional work attire. 90% of this position will require the candidate to be up and moving at a consistent pace. Candidate must be able to lift at least 40 pounds to accommodate new inventory processing.

Experience: Prior work experience in any field. Additional consideration may be given to those with retail, customer service and/or professional business experience.

Compensation: $16-$18/hr. DOE. Health Insurance, paid time off, and Simple IRA Employer matching benefits provided to full-time employee only.

Location: Rural shop operation located 8 miles northwest of Salina, KS. There are 3 miles of dirt/gravel roads to travel.

Business Operating Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Friday
