The Opportunity

As our Retail Operations Specialist, you'll be the engine behind our customer experience—ensuring every product that arrives is prepared to perfection and every order ships with care. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail directly impacts customer satisfaction.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Process new inventory from arrival to storage: unpack, count, inspect for quality, tag, and organize products

  • Maintain accuracy in inventory counts and ensure all items match invoices

  • Organize and stock products systematically for efficient retrieval

Order Fulfillment

  • Process and fulfill customer orders for shipment with accuracy and care

  • Handle returns efficiently and professionally

  • Maintain quality standards in all packaging and shipping processes

Daily Operations

  • Work closely with Head of Operations and Team Lead while maintaining independence in workflow management

  • Execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Maintain organized systems that support smooth operations

 

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential Qualities

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality when moving quickly

  • Self-motivated with ability to stay focused and complete tasks independently

  • Customer-first mindset in all work

  • Comfortable with computers and email communication

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to be on your feet and moving consistently throughout the day (90% of the time)

  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds regularly

Experience

  • Prior work experience in any field welcome

  • Additional consideration given to candidates with retail, customer service, or professional business backgrounds

Compensation

  • $16-18/hour depending on experience

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Location & Commute

Our shop is located in a rural setting 8 miles northwest of Salina, Kansas. The commute includes 3 miles of gravel roads. Reliable transportation and comfort with rural driving conditions are essential.
