Haute on the Ranch: ‘Trailblazing the West’ Returns

The special collaboration series created by Savannah Sevens founder Ryley Wimer to feature exclusive and iconic products through unique partnerships has returned!

“Trailblazing the West” was first developed in 2022 with a focus on bringing authentic western designs to the forefront. In an age when the internet is filled with fashion dupes and AI makes you second guess what’s real, there’s never been a more compelling time to showcase and celebrate original designs, quality craftsmanship, and signature style. 

“Since starting Savannah 7s more than 10 years ago, it’s always been important to me to offer a shopping experience you can’t get anywhere else,” said Ryley. “I want to bring our customers premium products that have a story, that promote the western lifestyle, that can’t be replicated, and that will be worn for years to come.”

Through Ryley’s style curation, Savannah 7s intentionally blends western heritage with current trends. For Trailblazing the West’s first collaboration of 2026, you’ll see this fashion juxtaposition through two new fits of denim you can only get here. We’re back in the saddle and excited to announce the next trail we’re blazing is with western brand Ariat.

Meet The Ledger

Customers have long loved Ariat trouser jeans. They’re comfortable enough to ride in; the leg opening allows for a cowboy boot; they can be dressed up for work functions; and they are a happy medium between straight and wide leg denim.

Because of its popularity and classic fit, the trouser jean will always have longevity in western fashion. For our collaboration with Ariat, we wanted to take this denim staple we know customers have confidence in and give it modern details, and so The Ledger was born.

We first started with the perfect rise trouser because it’s ideal for any torso length and compliments a woman’s natural waistline. A medium dark wash was chosen for its versatility, pairing well with any color of top and with any season. Finally, we knew we wanted to add the trending pintuck feature, yet update it.

A pintuck detail helps elongate the leg and on The Ledger, it is done with a premium stitch, making it lay perfectly flat, which gives a streamlined and polished effect to the jean. Additionally, the pintuck characteristic does not go all the way up to the waistline as seen on previous pairs we’ve designed with Ariat; instead, it stops at the top of the thigh. And something that’s never been done on a perfect rise trouser from Ariat? The pintuck continues on the back of the jean!

Meet The Kaycee

Last spring, we launched a light wash Ariat wide leg jean that sold out almost instantly! With that much customer demand, we knew one of our exclusives with Ariat had to start with that foundation.

With The Kaycee Jean, we added the same signature pintuck placement to the front and back, which tricks the eye into elongating the leg. We kept the back pocket clean, but decided to add unique and unexpected stitching to the front pocket. Finally, we made this jean an ultra high rise to provide more support for the midsection.

The Kaycee Jean shines in the spring and summer with both neutral tones and bold colors. However, her bronze stitching will also blend well with fall and winter shades. With the combination of the ultra high rise and the wide leg, she has a bit of a retro feel but with modern features, giving you a variety of styling options.
