Haute on the Ranch: Statement Styling -- The Lydon Dress
From the moment we saw and felt The Lyndon dress, we knew it was made for statement styling -- the retro mustard color, the crew-shaped neckline, the softest faux suede ever… It was sewn to be seen AND remembered. It doesn’t hurt that the shape and length make it PERFECT for styling in more ways than we can even imagine... So, without further refrain, here’s our take on three completely different ways to style The Lyndon -- with a few more statements thrown in for good measure. ;)
Our favorite “fun” dress -- with a whole lotta sass. Have a night out on the town coming up? Maybe a Christmas party or a milestone birthday celebration? This look has you covered in all the right ways. Pair it with your favorite cowboy boots -- maybe a side of The Sweetwater Boot Rugs? Top it off with turquoise on turquoise (of course) and a denim jacket -- you know, just in case.

Our favorite tunic. A little chilly for bare legs? No problem! The Lyndon looks AH-mazing paired with denim skinnies. For a more casual day look, go with medium wash denim (distressing optional), roll the cuff a little high, and throw on some shorty cowboy boots. If you’re headed for a night out on the town, snag a darker wash skinny, some wedges or booties, and you’ve got just the right amount of sexy. The Kanorado jacket is a gorgeous, southwest-inspired statement and will keep your arms nice and cozy.

Style note: Add to the retro flair by rolling the cuff just high enough to be seen peeking out of the top of your shorty boots -- it's adorable!
Our favorite top. If skinnies aren’t really your thing, another favorite look is pairing it with bootcuts or flares and knotting it at the hip. As with the skinnies, you can fancy it up or dress it down with your denim color and shoe style -- snip toe, square toe, wedges or heels -- you’ve got so many options! The Centralia poncho is oh-so-pretty if you’re venturing into some cooler temps, and the Rio Bravo clutch (in light brindle) is a S7s best-seller, so you’ surely can’t go wrong.

Overall, we love that The Lyndon dress is perfectly flowy, a statement shade of mustard, heavy enough to flatter all body types (or a baby bump), and light enough to wear in every season. Happy shopping and styling, friends -- no matter which look you prefer, you’re sure to be remembered in The Lyndon.
