Haute on the Ranch: Dressing for Concert + Festival Season

As the weather heats up, so does concert season. You’ve probably noticed social media has been flooded with announcements from your favorite artists – headlining tours, special appearances, and festival line-ups.

There is nothing better than sun-soaked days and starry nights spent with a drink in your hand, surrounded by friends, listening to the soundtrack of your life. If you have a full calendar of Lainey, Morgan, Koe, the Zachs, Red Clay Strays and more, it can be challenging to keep up with all your outfit demands.

From traditional stadium shows to eclectic music festivals to laidback beach performances, Savannah Sevens has you covered with three curated looks to inspire your next concert outing. So buy the ticket, grab your bestie and dress the part. Let’s make it a spring and summer to remember!

Stadium & Arena Shows

One of the most anticipated concerts of 2025 is Cross Canadian Ragweed coming out of a 15-year retirement to headline a four night residency at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma and a concert at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. Savannah 7s owner Ryley Wimer, an alum of OSU, plans to be in attendance at this historic music event.

Whether you’ll be outside in a sea of 50,000 or swaying to the music in an indoor arena or honky tonk, you can never go wrong with the cowgirl classic of denim and boots. In this look, we’ve paired a timeless denim dress with a neutral cowboy boot. The length of the dress is tasteful, yet comfortable for the warmer temps; and the hue of the boots allow you to pair them with various future outfits. Additionally, we’ve removed the waist tie that comes with the dress and added a show-stopping belt.

Music Festivals

If there ever was a concert series that was all about the total experience, outdoor festivals like Stagecoach in California would rank number one. Besides being able to take in a mix of music artists and genres, festivals often feature a variety of food stands, art displays, amusement attractions, DJ sets, and the opportunity to camp out on the event grounds.

Music festivals also give attendees the freedom to feel like they can take some fashion risks. In this look, we’ve mixed western with boho, combining a faux suede crop top with one of our most popular wide leg jeans. The unique stitch design across the front and down the legs of the jeans are on trend and add to the free-spirited style. We’ve finished the look with brand new Bed|Stü clogs and a gorgeous boot stitch handbag.

Beach Bash

It’s hard to think of a better concert combination than live music next to the ocean. In the last decade or so, country music festivals have been increasingly popping up on beaches, giving attendees a completely new atmosphere to enjoy their favorite artists.

If you’re headed to the Tortuga Music Festival or Morgan Wallen’s Sand in my Boots Festival, we’ve styled a vibrant, fun and laidback look with the environment in mind. Being on the beach, you may choose to wear your swimsuit, so we’ve selected denim shorts and side-knotted a brightly colored tee as easy cover-up options. Oftentimes, it’s a bit windier next to the waves, so grab a western cap to tame your mane. And we’ve finished the fit with a small crossbody that will hold the essentials and sandals that can slip on and off in the sand.
